Charlie Todd is a commercial property specialist with over a decade of experience across valuation, sales, leasing, and investment. With a background spanning both sides of the Tasman, Charlie brings a broad and well-rounded perspective to his clients at Rethink Investing across Australia and New Zealand.
Starting out as a Registered Commercial Property Valuer covering a broad range of commercial asset classes, Charlie transitioned into brokerage and rose to Associate Director at JLL, specialising in the industrial market. With experience advising landlords, tenants, and investors across sales and leasing, he developed a deep understanding of asset value, deal structuring, and what drives long-term investment performance.
Charlie is passionate about helping clients achieve their financial goals through commercial property, taking the time to understand each client's objectives and identifying assets that are the right fit for their portfolio and long-term strategy.
Charlie is also an active property investor himself, having co-founded and built a self-storage development and acquisition platform, personally project-managing three commercial developments totalling approximately 5,500sqm, while also acquiring additional strategic assets to strengthen the overall portfolio.
This hands-on experience as an investor gives Charlie a practical understanding of the journey his clients are on and the goals they are trying to achieve.
